The service has been designed in response to the increasing security measures and tight delivery windows being introduced at construction sites across London.
The new communications service allows drivers to contact the site, via a dedicated customer services team, to give them a 15-minute warning before a delivery is due and to advise of any possible delays and arrange for site operatives to be ready to collect the order. It will help to avoid missed deliveries and potential penalties, providing a more efficient and streamlined service, whilst allowing our drivers to concentrate on making your delivery.
These changes have been designed to further strengthen our industry-leading delivery solution.
This includes next day and timed deliveries on orders placed before 5pm.
