2 Trafalgar Way

2 Trafalgar Way is set to be the largest Passivhaus student accommodation scheme in Europe.
We have been supporting contractors to install the building services since September 2024 undertaking pull tests, advising on anchors to be used and meeting delivery requirements.
Situated in E14 directly to the east of the historic Billingsgate market, the development will provide 1672 student beds, 80 residential apartments, 41,000 sq.ft of commercial office space and 1,200 sq.ft of retail space. With a distinctive design, 2 Trafalgar Way will have three towers consisting of 28, 36 and 46 storeys, including a ‘sky bridge’ between two of the towers to link student amenities.
The project aims to achieve exemplar sustainability credentials, targeting both BREEAM Outstanding and Passivhaus certification, which once achieved, will make it the largest Passivhaus development in Europe. Passivhaus is a leading international design standard, delivering high standards of comfort and health whilst slashing energy use from buildings.
