Flexible Phenolic Strips also known as Croc Strips are used for supporting ductwork, and are made from 60kg/m³ density phenolic foam (CFC/HCFC free) which meet Class 0, 1 and P Fire Regulations. Our strips come in 1m lengths and can be easily joined together in order to wrap around larger ductwork. Available with a width of 50mm in thicknesses of 25mm, 38mm and 50mm.

The fire performance of Phenolic foam combines zero flame spread with very low level of toxic gas emissions. Phenolic foam is non-fibrous with excellent thermal insulation properties and is a better alternative to using either wood or calcium silicate. 

Phenolic strips also offer:

• Low emissivity with an Aluminium foil vapour barrier jacket
