Fixmart supported the HVAC contractors that were tasked with installing a ventilation system on a roof top courtyard to serve Guy’s Hospital’s new operating theatres.
How We Provided Support:
With space at a premium and a requirement to fit around existing building services and structure. We designed four types of bespoke structural frames to support the new ductwork system.
The fixing methodology and calculated weight loads for the unique support system were key. As we needed to take into account the size of the ductwork and specific positioning for some of the frames between the many windows which overlooked the courtyard.
